I prefer to use my Linux machine over my windows machine. But when it comes to music and entertainment I prefer my Windows machine. There are very few softwares realted to audion and video in Linux. I could not get good softwares in linux. So I have to adjust with Windows. But for most of my programming I use my Linux machine. For watching movies and listening to songs I use windows machine. Russia's Isinbayeva pole vaults to a new world record

Russia's Yelena Isinbayeva set a new women's pole vault world record of 5.03m at the Golden League meeting in Rome on Friday.


Isinbayeva bettered her previous world record of 5.01m set in Helsinki in August 2005.


The Olympic and world champion, making her first appearance of the season outdoors, has now set 22 world records in the event (12 outdoor and 10 indoors).


Her latest world record comes just four weeks before the Beijing Olympics get underway and took her closer to one of her ambitions - beating Ukrainain Sergei Bubka's record of setting 35 world records in the men's pole vault.


Isinbayeva's record-breaking performance also appeared to justify her controversial decision to change her coach at the end of the 2005 season when she linked up with Bubka's former handler Vitaly Petrov.

UN says it will investigate Benazir killing

The UN chief has agreed to Pakistan's request to establish an independent commission that will investigate the killing of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.


UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's office confirmed the agreement moments after it was announced by Pakistan's top diplomat.


"The objectives are for the commission to identify the culprits, perpetrators, organizers and financiers of the assassination," Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Thursday, just after a brief, private meeting with Ban.


Determining who was behind Benazir's killing could help stabilise a nation that is a key US ally in the fight against terrorism, but has been struggling against an influx of insurgents joining with al-Qaeda and other militant groups in Pakistan's remote tribal and mountainous areas.


The previous government blamed the Taliban in Pakistan for the attack against Benazir, but suspicions surrounding her death have been cast far and wide -- a further reason for the government's pressing to clear up the matter. Qureshi assured reporters that Ban would appoint "well-respected, eminent people" to the independent commission.
